Meet our doctors
Darwin tsang, O.D.
Dr. Tsang is a Bay Area native, growing up in Castro Valley, CA. He graduated from UC Irvine with a Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences. Looking to explore a different part of the country, he went on to earn his Doctorate of Optometry from the prestigious New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. Dr. Tsang has completed clinical externships at the Veteran Affairs Hospitals in Fresno, CA and Portland, OR, as well as various community health centers within the Boston metropolitan area. He received training in primary care, ocular disease management, and has a special interest in contact lenses. Dr. Tsang is trained to treat dry eyes, infections, injuries and inflammation. He is certified to manage glaucoma.
After graduation, Dr. Tsang returned to the Bay Area and honed his skills at a private practice in San Francisco. He is excited for the opportunity to serve the San Rafael Community and looks forward to addressing your eye care needs!
Outside of seeing patients, he enjoys cooking, travel, sport fishing and the outdoors.
ROBERT LEVINE, O.D.
Dr. Levine is a Marin native. He grew up in San Anselmo, went to Brookside Elementary and Drake High School. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of California in Davis and his professional schooling at the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton.
Dr. Levine has been practicing here in Marin since his graduation in 1979. His office specializes in Family Eye Care. In fact, he is still providing eye care to some patients who he originally examined in 1979. He dispenses all types of contact lenses including, gas permeable, soft, disposable, astigmatic, extended wear and bifocal lenses. He is also associated with surgeons performing refractive (laser) surgery.
Over the years, Dr. Levine has been involved with local schools and other organizations.
Dr. Levine gives lectures regarding vision and eye care, and his office regularly donates auction items to local non-profits and schools for fund raising events.
Tina Cheung, O.D.
Dr. Tina Cheung graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary. She completed her doctorate in Optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston MA.
Dr. Cheung completed clinical externships at the Connecticut Veteran Affairs Hospital and East Boston Community Health Center. Post graduation, Dr. Cheung worked at an Ophthalmology clinic in San Francisco's Chinatown where she cared for low income and elderly communities. Her training includes primary care optometry and ocular disease management. Dr. Cheung is licensed to treat various eye and vision problems and is certified to manage glaucoma. Dr. Cheung emphasizes preventative eye care to maximize quality of life for her patients.
A native of Calgary, Alberta, Dr. Cheung enjoys exploring her new home in the Bay Area. Outside of seeing patients she enjoys figure skating and the outdoors. She is excited to offer the highest quality of care to Marin County.
Dr. Cheung is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and can perform eye examinations in Spanish
